Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Namu House Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By booking or receiving any treatment or consultation with us, you ("the client", "customer") acknowledge, understand and agree to be bound by the terms outlined below. These terms form a binding agreement between Namu House Limited and the client and apply to all micropigmentation and semi-permanent makeup services offered, whether booked online, in person or via third-party platforms.

1.  Consultation and Consent

Before undergoing any procedure, you will be required to complete and sign a Client Consent Form. By signing this form, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood all information provided, all your questions have been answered, and you consent to treatment by the technician named in your booking.

2.  Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

A deposit of 20% (or a bespoke amount as agreed at the time of booking) is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward your total service cost.

  • Deposits are forfeited if cancellations or rescheduling requests are made less than 72 hours before the appointment.

  • Clients may reschedule their appointment once without penalty if at least 72 hours' notice is given. A second reschedule or any reschedule made within 72 hours of the appointment will require a new deposit.

  • The client is responsible for reviewing all pre- and aftercare guidance prior to booking. This includes checking compatibility requirements with any skincare, aesthetics, dental or other treatments undertaken before or after their appointment with us. Any services booked outside of this studio are undertaken at the client's sole risk and responsibility.

  • It is the client's responsibility to confirm the date and time of their appointment and to arrive punctually. Entry will not be permitted outside of opening hours unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.

  • By making a booking, the client confirms they have reviewed the pricing and service description for their chosen treatment. Touch-up sessions and any additional appointments are charged separately unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of booking.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • No-shows: clients who fail to attend without notice will forfeit their deposit and a No-Show fee of 30% of the service value will be charged to the payment card on file.

  • Lateness: if you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

  • Patch tests: once a patch test has been dispatched, a non-refundable amount of £15 applies regardless of any subsequent cancellation.

  • Unattended children and pets are not permitted on site for health and safety reasons.

By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms. For any questions please email appointments@namuhouse.com

3.  Touch-Up Policy

Touch-up sessions are optional and may be necessary to achieve or maintain your desired result. We may, at our sole discretion, offer a complimentary touch-up in exceptional circumstances.

4.  Medical Disclaimer

Our services are cosmetic in nature and are not a substitute for medical treatment. You must:

  • Disclose all relevant health conditions, medications, allergies and previous treatments before your appointment.

  • Seek medical advice before booking if you are unsure of your suitability for micropigmentation.

We are not liable for any complications arising from a failure to disclose relevant medical information.

5.  Right to Refuse Service

In accordance with English law and subject to the Equality Act 2010, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service where a client:

  • Exhibits abusive, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour;

  • Demonstrates disrespect toward staff or other clients;

  • Fails to follow pre- or post-treatment instructions;

  • Presents a medical or skin condition that contraindicates treatment;

  • Is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

This policy exists to protect the wellbeing and safety of all staff and clients. Any refusal of service will not be made on discriminatory grounds.

6.  Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, we shall not be liable for:

  • Adverse reactions arising from undeclared allergies or a failure to follow aftercare instructions;

  • Dissatisfaction with aesthetic outcomes where the treatment was carried out as agreed;

  • Temporary or permanent skin changes resulting from the natural healing process.

7.  Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

8.  Privacy Policy and Data Handling

By booking or receiving any treatment or consultation with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms of our Privacy Policy (set out in full in Part Two of this document and available at www.namuhouse.com/privacy-policy). This includes how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data.

We are committed to handling your information in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Namu House Limited is the data controller of your personal information.
