EYELINER & HAIRLINE

Eyeliner

Semi-permanent eyeliner is one of the most precise treatments we offer, and one of the most quietly transformative. A well-placed line along the upper lash base adds definition, makes the lashes appear fuller, and removes the daily effort of getting it right. Done well, it looks like your eyes, just more awake.

At Namu House we specialise in ultra-fine upper lash line. We do also offer wings, but only after an honest conversation about what that means long term.

On wings

The skin on the eyelid is among the thinnest on the face, and with time it loses collagen and elasticity. A wing that sits beautifully now may not sit the same way in five or ten years, and eyeliner is not something you can simply decide you are done with. Beauty trends shift, and so do personal preferences. We will offer a wing to anyone who is certain, but we take that conversation seriously first. If there is any hesitation, we would rather talk it through properly than proceed.

Hairline

Hair naturally thins along the hairline over time, and for many women this happens gradually enough that it goes unnoticed until the change feels significant. The frontal hairline, the temples, and the area around the parting are where density loss tends to show first, and where a little definition can make a meaningful difference to how the face is framed.

The Korean hairline treatment is rarely seen in specialist semi-permanent makeup studios in the UK. It is not scalp micropigmentation. This is something altogether more subtle, a soft, natural enhancement that adds the impression of density and definition to the hairline in a way that is visible but undetectable.

Treatment can be done with fine hair strokes alone, mimicking the appearance of individual hairs along the hairline, or combined with a light powder technique to add depth and density behind the strokes where the hair has thinned. The two approaches can be used together depending on what the hairline needs.

The design requires a different eye to brow work. The hairline has its own anatomy, its own growth patterns, and its own relationship to the face. Getting it to look natural means understanding how hair actually grows in that area, how it frames different face shapes, and how pigment behaves on the scalp rather than the face. For that reason, this treatment is offered by master artists only.

Touch-Ups

Both eyeliner and hairline treatments include a touch up once the initial healing is complete.

For eyeliner, this is scheduled at four weeks. It is an opportunity to reinforce the colour and, if needed, make any adjustments now that you have had time to live with the result and see how it settles.

For the hairline, the touch up is booked between two to four weeks from your initial appointment. This is where we reinforce the colour and add further strokes where the skin may need a little more density.

How Long Does it Last

Eyeliner is the most long-lasting treatment we offer. Results typically retain for three to five years, and in some cases longer. It behaves less like semi-permanent makeup and more like a long term commitment. That is not a reason to avoid it, for the right client it is exactly what makes it worthwhile, but it is something to go into with clarity.

For the hairline, hair strokes using the microblading technique typically last up to a year. With nano, results can last up to eighteen months. How long your result holds will also depend on your scalp's natural oil secretion, how frequently you wash your hair, and how quickly your scalp sheds. These factors vary considerably between individuals and will be discussed at your consultation.

Why Namu House

The eyelid is unforgiving. The tissue is delicate, the margin for error is small, and the placement has to be precise every time. We only carry out eyeliner treatments with artists who have the experience to work at that level of detail confidently and consistently.

The hairline sits at the intersection of two things that are easy to get wrong independently, precise technical application and considered aesthetic design. Our master artists bring both, with the same depth of knowledge they apply to brow work and the additional understanding of how the scalp behaves differently to facial skin. This is not a treatment we offer lightly, which is exactly why the results look the way they do.
